How do I get deceased changed to living and make it stick?

I have relatives, and even myself, listed as deceased. I have tried getting it changed but failed. Until we are alive I cannot go any further with my family tree.  How do I make us all alive?

    Hola ChrisAlexander

Lo que debe hacer es que desde el árbol familiar en la persona que aparece como fallecida ahí debe enviar una notificación para que puedan hacerle el cambio, cualquier cosa estamos a la orden

    Welcome to this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

    Just in passing ...

    Please be aware ...

IF, you have accessed, EACH of those individuals/persons, created by OTHER Users/Patrons, that you 'see' as "Deceased", who are in fact, "Living"; and, accessed the "Death" record, of each, "Changing" the 'Status', from "Deceased", to "Living"; and, provided a "Reason Statement" ; THEN, please be advised/aware, that action(s) is NOT "Immediate".

Your submission(s), for such a "Change" of the 'Status', from "Deceased", to "Living", of an individual/person, goes to 'FamilySearch' "Support", who investigate the matter(s); and, provided, that they "Agree" (with you), will "Approve"/"Authorise", that "Change" of the 'Status', from "Deceased", to "Living".

Such, can take a Day or two, depending upon their work load.

    As an aside ...

When the "Change" of the 'Status', from "Deceased", to "Living", is "Approved"/"Authorised", the individual/person GOES into the "Private Spaces" of the particular User/Patron, who created them.

As such, you will NO LONGER 'see', those particular 'FamilySearch Person Identifiers' (PIDs), for those individuals/persons, in "Family Tree", of 'FamilySearch'.

Well, not until, they are made "Deceased" again ...

    I hope, that this helps/assists.

    Brett

Thank you all for answering. I was beginning to wonder if I just needed more patience to get the changes to take effect. The researchers are wringing their hands right now as I’ve changed the deceased to living three times already! I’ll stop and wait for the changes two take effect!
