Messages Input box should be expandable

The Messages input box should be expandable so that I can see the entire message that I'm composing.

I just tested and did see that the message expands as I typed - in both the browser (Chrome on Windows 10) and in the Android mobile Family Tree app. Are you using the browser or the mobile app when having this issue (What browser/OS)?

For clarity: The box itself is not expandable. But as you type the box/view does expand - so that you can view quite a bit - if not the complete message (the box expands about half the page on Chrome/Windows 10 - on Android the message takes up the extent of the screen - at least on small phone).

Just in passing ...

Question: Are you referring, to 'Messages', in "User Messaging", of 'FamilySearch'?

[ Or, another "Part" of 'FamilySearch' ... ]

And, are you referencing, the (ORIGINAL) Computer version of 'FamilySearch'; or, are you referencing the (NEWER) "Mobile" Application version of 'FamilySearch'?

Please advise.

Because ...

Using the (ORIGINAL) Computer version of 'FamilySearch' ...

In regards to "Composing", a 'Message', in "User Messaging", of 'FamilySearch' ...

I just "Checked" ...

As, I "Type", the 'Message', the "Text Box" automatically EXPANDED; as, I "Typed", moving onto more lines, as needed.

And, I could "Move", up; and, down, that 'Message', in the "Text Box", using the, "Up"; and, "Down", 'Keys' on my 'Keyboard'; thus, I could 'see' the whole 'Message', that I was "Composing".

Whereas ...

I have NOT tried, sending a 'Message', in "User Messaging", of 'FamilySearch', through the (NEWER) "Mobile" Application version of 'FamilySearch',

And, as such, I CANNOT relate to such.

Just my thoughts.

ps: I tired the aforementioned, in the "Browsers" of BOTH, 'Google' "Chrome"; and, 'Mozilla' "FireFox", with the "Operating System" of 'Microsoft' "Windows 10"; and, All with the LATEST versions of each.
