How do I identify the 'partner site' or 'owner' of a record so that I can view the image?
I am getting the following for a record I wish to view: "Image Available - To view these images do one of the following: You may be able to view this image by visiting one of our partner's sites or the legal record custodian (fees may apply)." I've gone to https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/what-are-the-image-restrictions-in-historical-records and for this message, it says to, "View them on the partner site. If we know which site has the images, you see a link to it. Otherwise, search the FamilySearch Research Wiki to find a source of the information." It does not have a link, so I went to the Wiki, and have searched the sites for these record collections and have not been able to figure out where to view the images. From what I can tell, Family Search has the database with all the related images, so I'm not clear on why these are not viewable. I can view the same collection (Colombia, registros parroquiales y diocesanos, 1576-2018," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QS7-89ZY-GS41?cc=1726975&wc=C2V9-JWL%3A1044032901%2C1588875170%2C1044616102%2C1588875171 : 21 November 2015), Antioquia > Yalí > Nuestra Señora de los Dolores) for the time period 1918-1967, but not for 1874-1932, which is the set I need to view. Is there possibly an error of some kind that is preventing the images from being viewable? If not, how do I locate the partner site that has the record available for viewing?

@Martha Bustamante You are correct that it appears that the permissions have not been accurately applied to the films on catalog page: https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/980148?availability=Family%20History%20Library
Normally, we would send this to the developers to get them to check the permissions and get it cleaned up. Unfortunately, of late, when we have done that, the response we get back is that the catalog is being cleaned up and re-formatted and will republish in 2022. They assure us that these issues will then be corrected.
I recognize how terribly unsatisfying an answer this is since you want to search the records now. But it looks like all of us are going to have to wait until they finish their catalog re-design.

@N Tychonievich Is this one you can boost/check, please?
Film 2219398 is unrestricted, but film 2177556, which covers some of the same and earlier years, is restricted.
Hoping it is a glitch that just needs someone to ask the question. Thanks.

The catalog entry for film 2177556 is https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/980148.
I would say it is not available to view because it contains "Bautismos 1874-1932 " so currently the whole film is not available for privacy reasons. Currently (to my knowledge) FamilySearch does not filer out the records which would be unavailable for privacy reasons, it just makes the whole film unavailable.
The films are "Microfilmación de manuscritos en el archivo de la Diócesis de Santa Rosa de Osos"
"Microfilming of manuscripts in the archives of the Diocese of Santa Rosa de Osos", see the following links

@MaureenE123 I would normally have said the same, but comparing 2177556 to 2219398 puts paid to the usual answer.

Thank you for the responses. I don't understand, however. Why would 'Bautismos' be available for one timeframe (1918-1967) but restricted for the other (1874-1932)? I'm hoping that Aine is correct, and it's an error of some kind that can be corrected. It also seems that we're guessing as to the reasons the image is not available, despite the message saying that it IS available, at a partner site. Is there a way to find out for certain? Available/not available? If available, where? If an error, and can be made available?

@Martha Bustamante I agree, and that's what I tried to explain. I know that there have been recent instances when the mod @N Tychonievich reported a similar issue, and the digitized film is now available.

Ok, thank you. Hopefully they can provide some insight on this one as well.

This is the most recent thread I recall showing that there was an error in access which was corrected after the issue was reported. https://community.familysearch.org/en/discussion/comment/411151#Comment_411151

Thank you for the update! Do you happen to know when in 2022?

Also, do we know for certain that is being done across the board? In other words, should I assume that applies to this specific record set as well? Or should this set still be placed on their 'to do' list for awareness?

I notice in the link provided by @Áine Ni Donnghaile, which was about a successful change, @N Tychonievich said "We'll get this over to the folks who can dive deeper into the contracts governing access to these images." Are these the same people she mentioned above, the developers working on the catalog re-design?

@Martha Bustamante We do not have a specific projected date for the catalog re-work to publish. Even if we did, it would be practically worthless. Unexpected glitches tend to plague any major re-do of software.
Yes, we can assume that all permissions will be carefully checked and updated as part of the project.

@N Tychonievich Got it, thanks!

Got the same problem tonight on two different records. This place has a lot of good information but very hard to manuever around and know what to do with the info you find. Still haven't learned that one.

@Martha Bustamante You should be able to view the images if you go to a Family History Center. Hopefully there is one is near you that is open.
