Memories photo albums - sharing with family members
We have placed a number of albums in our FamilySearch/Family Tree accounts (my wife and I). In each album we have placed photographs and documents relating to family members and ancestors.
We recognize that we can share links with family members using the Share function, but is there a way that a daughter or son can actually copy the photos and documents into their gallaries and have them appear in the albums as they appear in ours?
If I share a link from an album or an individual item in the album with a relative, how can that link be displayed in their gallery albums showing the same information?
When I die, will the memories I have saved in my gallery be available to descendants and others? We are a little fuzzy on how that transition works. Is information I have entered and saved about living people, including photos, documents, etc available at some point after those living people are deceased?
Thank you for your assistance.

FamilySearch memories allow users to bookmark both individual memories and albums to make it easier to find again.
When other users view albums they see exactly what you see, with the exception of tags for living persons and any memories you choose to mark as private.

Thank you for your answer but we still have two additional questions.
Can we physically transfer photos or documents to a family member's FamilySearch account from within our FamilySearch memories/gallery?
What happens to my account when I pass away? Are the photos, documents and memories I've saved going to be visible to my family and others and how does that process happen? Is it done automatically once FamilySearch is notified of my passing or do family members have to make overtures to FamilySearch tech support to get assistance to ensure nothing is lost?
Thank you again for your thoroughness.

When FamilySearch is notified of your death, your account will be disabled.
When a user passes away, if FamilySearch knows about the death, the system locks the account. All Memories items that the individual contributed remain in our Family Tree database.
This is also true of tags. Others can still see these tagged items but cannot edit them.
If the user has added private memories, those memories are not made public. The system is set to keep private any memories designated by a contributor as private.
The Help Center under the question mark icon, has more information about Memories, if needed.
We hope this helps.
