@JudyMaddoxMartin . Below is a link to a “Contact Support” page with various options. Maybe one of these will be what you want. I clicked on the question mark in the upper right of the page and found it.

I think the greatest benefits to sharing ideas publicly in a community forum is that it allows ideas to be transparent and to gain momentum. You aren't just sticking your thoughts in a bottle and throwing it out to sea hoping someone will see it someday. Other people can see your ideas and agree with you. They can add their own thoughts and encourage additional insights. It also lets product managers know that this thing you have brought forward is not just a problem or solution that would benefit one person, but something that could help many people.
However, I can see your point about the occasional need to use a private channel to offer feedback, possibly based on the subject you are discussing. Apart from the subject matter, is there another reason why a private method of offering feedback might be more productive or helpful than a public?

Thanks for the link, but only of help in Europe if you live in Austria, Germany or Switzerland, it appears! Sad to say, I personally find this to be of no loss. When the phone link was available, on more than one occasion I ended up spending 45 minutes on the phone speaking with a volunteer who did not understand my problem and would not escalate to a department that might have been able to help. Same with emails: just a "copy/paste" reply was often received, totally irrelevant to the subject matter.
What Judy is requesting is perfectly reasonable - although I would also like to be able to know "someone who counts" Is visiting "Suggest an Idea". It is very rare for FamilySearch employees to respond here, so how do we know that at least one individual from all the "main sections" of FamilySearch (Records, Indexing, Family Tree, etc.) is coming here and taking note of our problems / suggestions?
That's a question I should have directed at @Caleb L I guess. Judging by the lack of any serious response (including changes!) following the recent revision of the "Search" pages (hundreds of unaddressed comments / complaints) one has to be cynical about how much FamilySearch listens to its users.

That's unfortunate, @Paul W . These forums (fora ?) have some excellent, very experienced users in various disciplines (e.g., Indexing Q&A - and I imagine others). If a user has complaints/suggestions about system issues, and for whatever reason, does not want to "go public," then @Caleb L seems to be a person to remember. I hope that @JudyMaddoxMartin will explain her concerns and her concerns about publically voicing her concerns to @Caleb L - at least in a PM.
Finally, I think that a user can (private) message anyone.
