Easy Invatations function

I see someone has already asked this question before in March of 2020. There was NO definitive answer.

I want to use the "Easy Invitation" function. I learned about it on a Youtube video by Fresno North Stake entitled "So Your A New Family History Consultant, Now What" .

I've tried multiple times to use this function ( that is still available ) but have had no luck... I've read the FS Article on the function. I've even sat with a friend in my ward and we both tried to use and figure out how to use this function. I sent her the invitation to do a Family History activity, she did the activity in my presence, but when I refreshed my FS page and searched her name, there was no change to her icon... it was still the Activity icon.

I've called the FS help line twice and spoken to two missionaries that had no idea what I was even talking about & I had to help them find it.

My question is this. . . Is the Easy Invitation function working? If it isn't working is there a "go live" date or will this function be discontinued.

    FYI

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

[ And, I happen to be a Member of the Church ... ]

Short Answer: "Easy Invitations" are sort of working; but, certainly not like it used to originally.

    Unfortunately, things have changed somewhat.

That link to "Easy Invitations", under "Helper Recourses", simply now, takes one, to the "Campaign", in 'FamilySearch'; being, "FamilySearch experiences for members of the [Ward/Branch]".

    https://www.familysearch.org/campaign/patrons

    That being is one's Ward/Branch.

Where, one will 'see', a "List" of the members of one's Ward/Branch, with a 'FamilySearch' Account.

And, in the 'Left-Hand-Side' column, one will 'see' a 'Link", for those members; please be aware, that "Link" is now exactly the same, for each member of one's Ward/Branch; and, will take each member of one's Ward/Branch, to their OWN 'FamilySearch' "Notifications"; and, the 'Messages' in the "Discovery" page/screen; and, show them their most recent "Discovery" 'Messages".

As a Ward/Branch, "Temple and Family History, Consultant", these days, it is simply a matter, of sending a "Copy" of that "Link" via/through, (1) "E-mail"; and/or, (2) "User Messaging" of 'FamilySearch'; or, (3) actually, in person, directly to those that you are "Helping", with an explanation of what the "Discovery" 'Messages' are about.

There is NO "Invitation" feature/facility/function; as, such, that can be used to initiate an "invitation", from the "Easy Invitations", under "Helper Recourses".

I know that this does not help/assist; but, I hope that this gives you some additional, insight; and, perspective.

    Brett

ps: Unfortunately, some "Campaigns", come and go; and, are even sometimes (in some cases, often) 'resurrected' again.

pps: That "List", of "FamilySearch experiences for members of the [Ward/Branch]", has 'remained'; as, an "Aide", to Ward/Branch, "Temple and Family History, Consultants", for a list of members, of one's Ward/Branch, with a 'FamilySearch' Account.
