Website much slower past couple of months?

I've found the past couple of months the website is slower than it used to be. A page load may be as much as 10 seconds long now. Anybody else having this problem? It used to be only slow on Sundays but now it doesn't matter the day or time of day -- it is always slow. I think something has changed with the recent updates.

FYI, I have a 1GB internet connection and I am in Utah so it isn't going to be my connection that is the problem.

    @chriswood1

You may want to try some of the following maintenance items for your browser:

Clear cookies: Here is a help article on that

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-delete-all-of-the-cookies-and-temporary-files-stored-by-my-internet-browser

Make sure your browser is on the most current version:

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/which-internet-browsers-are-compatible

Regardless of the operating system you use, our website works with these fully supported browsers:

    • Apple Safari—the current version and one previous
    • Google Chrome—the current version and one previous
    • Microsoft Edge—the current version and one previous
    • Mozilla Firefox—the current version and one previous

Please note that you need to be on the current version or at least the previous version. Browsers are usually updated every two weeks or so and you should check that often to see you are on the current version.

You could also try one of the other supported browsers.

It could also be an issue with your internet provider.

    Hopefully this will help you.

I switched to Firefox and while Firefox seems faster than Chrome, the search page and other (seemingly) random pages are still upwards of 10 seconds to load.

This problem went away. I'm not sure what changed.

I have deleted cookies. Anything I can think of that will help. I am on Google Chrome. It's much longer than 10 seconds on my loads if at all. Its been over 3 months now since I have been able to use family search correctly. We have up our mpg so we know that isn't that. I think it has to do with the last upload.
