Printing from Temple Reservations
I'm frustrated with printing names from my temple file. I spend time looking for the name on one page and mark it for temple ordinances. Then going to next page to find additional names I would like to create a temple card for. I'll click the print key only to learn that the first name selected has not been added to be printed. The current system does not keep names marked from page to page.
If one name is selected from each temple reservation page, only one name would be printed on a single sheet. With the temple policy of not returning family cards, there could possible be 4-5 printed pages per person.
Where is the conservation of paper and time?
Please consider the ability to mark names from page in individual temple files.
Thanks

FYI
Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, with your first post/comment.
I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
[ And, I happen to be a Member of the Church ... ]
You are not alone ...
There has been a number of such requests ...
It was disappointing, to say the least, when the "Continuous" List of "Reservations", for "Temple" Work, was REPLACED, by the "Paging" (ie. "Pages").
The reason/inference; being, that the "Continuous" Lists, that for MANY Users/Patrons (who are Members of the Church), was Extremely LARGE (ie. "Thousands"), used far too much "System" Resources; thereby, "Slowing" the "System" down.
Hence, why 'FamilySearch' went, from "Continuous" Lists, to "Paging" (ie. "Pages") Lists.
Now ...
That Said ...
You are not alone ...
Unfortunately ...
What you desire is not a new request; and, had been requested COUNTLESS times, by COUNTLESS Users/Patrons (who are Members of the Church), that being, to enable the selecting (and, printing), of individuals/persons "Temple" Work across "Pages", in our List of "Reservations" for "Temple" Work.
As such ...
Due to the "Change", from "Continuous" Lists, to "Paging" (ie. "Pages") Lists ...
I DO NOT think, that 'FamilySearch', will accede to such a request/suggested enhancement, on the grounds that; and, as they have ADDED, "Filters", to the "Reservations" Lists; where, it is/has been implied/suggested, that we SHOULD be able to "Sort" the individuals/persons that we require, by using those "Filters". to get the result they we desire.
So ...
That Said ...
According to 'FamilySearch', it is SUPPOSEDLY, a very SIMPLE matter, of getting to know how to use, the "Filters", in the "Reservations" Lists, to achieve the desired result ...
I will just leave that with you; and, say no more ...
We can but live in hope ...
Just my thoughts.
I know that this certainly does not help/assist; but, I hope that this gives yo some, insight; and, perspective.

Do you have the Snipping Tool app on your computer? The icon looks like this:
It is a free app. It allows you to "clip" any part of any screen on your computer.
I love this app! When I click ordinances to print cards from Temple Ready, it then shows you the cards in a PDF, up to 3 cards per page. I open up the snipping tool (I have it ready to use on my icon bar at the bottom of my screen). I "clip" them, copy them, and paste them into a Word document, set to landscape mode. I can fit 4 cards per page doing it that way.
I keep a running saved document called "Temple Cards To Print" on my desktop, so whenever I need to print more, I can save them in there. Then, when a page (or 4) is full, I print those pages. It works smashingly well and I get to conserve paper that way also!

Have you heard of the Snipping Tool app? It is free. I use it to print temple ready cards. I get to the point of asking to print cards. When it comes up as a PDF image, I open the snipping tool and it allows me to "snip" any part of my screens! I then copy and paste the image into a Word document, set in landscape mode, and I can fit 4 temple cards per page. I keep a Word Document called "Temple Cards To Print" on my desktop and I am able to print them as the page fills up and not waste any paper that way. It works smashingly well!
