How do I find out if a name is duplicated?
Two Niels Mortensens are listed with the same birth date and place. Two different spouses are listed. Are both correct, or is one an error?

Looks like you have some research to do.
First place to start is the two marriages. Find the original parish record for both marriages. I don't know about Danish records of the time, but if you are lucky they will include birthplaces for bride and groom, probably an age, and most helpful of all, fathers names. Often Scandinavian marriage records will state whether one has been married before.
If the marriage information conflicts, then you have two separate men and need to figure out how their information go confused. If the two marriages are days apart in widely different parts of the country, clearly there is a problem. If the marriages are years apart, you should be able to find a death date for the first wife.
Look at when and where children were born. Are they consistent with having two different wives?
Basically, you have to look at as many sources as you can and see if what is in Family Tree makes sense.

Now, after giving that general advice on how to proceed in such situations, I took a look at the record and clearly these have to be two separate men. Niels and Christine were having children between 1811 and 1819 and Niels and Maren were having children between 1810 and 1828. The two families were living about ten miles apart from each other.
Both Niels have the same parents, but with different IDs.
Maren's husband has 7 siblings and his parents were added to him back in about 1932. Christine's husband doesn't have any and his parents were added just this last May. I suspect that it is Christine's husband who has the wrong birth information and the wrong parents.
There is no marriage for Niels and Christine, so that is the place to start to figure out who Christine really was married to.
There are a ton of sources on these people. Start by reviewing them for consistency and to get acquainted with these families and their lives in Denmark. Then go after that marriage record for Niels and Christine
