When you request a change from dead to living your request is routed to a group in FamilySearch who are assigned to work these cases. They are worked in the order they are received. It may take a few days or weeks according to how many request there are and the time it takes to investigate each request so it is not possible to give an answer to how Long it will take. You will be contacted by them for further information or when their investigation is complete.
Thank you for your patience

I have contacted the person who created the profile, are they able to change the death status without approval from FS?
I believe her son has a FS account, if he does can I provide his profile for contact?

If the record that shows her deceased has only been changed by the person who created it, then yes, that person can quickly edit her back to living. If there have been other changes to the record, then no, it will have to be fixed by FamilySearch.
When I have submitted them, it takes anywhere from a day to a week - from my experience.

I sent a message to the person who created the profile but have had no reply, and I think the person is the only one who has made changes. Other people have made changes to her siblings and parents.
I'll wait for a few more days for a reply from the profile creator.

I went back to her this morning, under recently viewed people, she is listed, when I follow the link, it says Person not found, This person does not exist, has been removed or is restricted in Family Search.
Which is all good, still would have been nice to be notified.
