A BETTER IDEA! AUTOMATING information regarding preliminary ordinances for sealings!
Even though it's NOT required (only encouraged), I like to know if the preliminary ordinances have been completed or not before I do sealings.
Answering this question involves the tedious process of clicking on each husband, wife, father, and mother. Then, after clicking on everything, there is no way to mark or remember that these preliminary ordinances are either "COMPLETED" or "NOT COMPLETED."
So, I either have to create my own tracking method . . . (I have a method that works for me. I transfer all of the "NOT COMPLETED" names to my daughter's FamilySearch account, because she doesn't really do family research. And, I manually sort name cards into piles. I could even keep an Excel spreadsheet if I want to.)
. . . Or, I have to click on everything ALL OVER AGAIN next time I want this information. I am willing to work with the system the way it is right now, but,
HERE'S A BETTER IDEA! :)
I would LOVE for FamilySearch to AUTOMATE this information!
I would LOVE to see if the preliminary ordinances are complete or not, just by looking at the line item, without having to click on anything.
I would LOVE to be able to filter my sealings by "PRELIMINARY ORDINANCES COMPLETE" or "PRELIMINARY ORDINANCES NOT COMPLETE."
Do you LIKE this idea? Do you agree that AUTOMATED INFORMATION would be helpful? If so, please VOTE for this post.
Thanks! :)
