    Hello MAshby2,

If you created the record and no other contributor has changed it, you can delete a deceased person's record from Family Tree. If the message "Delete Person Unavailable" appears you cannot delete a person. Instead, you can remove the incorrect relationship.

Use the links below for instruction how to either delete a person, remove an incorrect spouse or an incorrect child depending on the situation.

If you have simply spelled the name wrong, follow the instruction for changing vital information.

How do I delete a person from Family Tree?

How do I correct parent-child relationships in Family Tree?

A person in Family Tree has the wrong spouse

How do I change vital information in Family Tree?

    Hope that this helps.
