Remember search parameters

Since we are logged into the system and I imaging cookies enabled and the like, I think this should be technically feasible. I think most users use the search function more than once per session and perhaps within a similar geographic region or time frame and several times for the same family group, so having to re-type every time the same location dates or last name is a waste of time. By simply remembering what you type last time you can use that to search again, if you want something different just type over. I try to use the click and pop up past entries from browser history then right-click to accept but, having the stay would be even simpler...
