Who reads new ideas?

When I submit a "NEW IDEA," how do I know if it has been read by Church employees and is being considered? How do I know if it's getting to the right people?

    @Deborah J. White

    I believe that is why many FS users post here, rather than to "Ideas". The predecessor of "Ideas" - run on behalf of FamilySearch by getsatisfaction.com - at least had a degree of employee participation, but that has become increasing less evident now.

    In the other sections of Community (Family Tree, Search, etc.) at least the moderators assure us when queries have been passed to the "right people" - although sometimes this just means moving a question from one section of Community to another section, which it deemed more appropriate!

    The thought that items submitted to "Suggest an Idea" are being just summarily dismissed, or not even read by the relevant FS section, is widely held. Just a cursory acknowledgment from a FamilySearch employee, that someone from the organisation had read the post, would go some way to dismissing a common belief that we might be wasting our time here.

    Thanks, Paul, for your reply. Even if my ideas don't get to the right people, at least now I don't feel quite so alone in my attempts.
