Image Index Record is one page off to Image Record
I am using the records: Germany, Lutheran Baptisms, Marriages, and Burials, 1500-1971. I noticed the Image Index record is not for the left page image displayed. The actual Image Index record is on the right page image on the following page.
Example, Image Index shows Elisabeth Trudrung. Image 805 (left page) above Elisabeth Trudrung is not listed. She is listed on image 806 (right page) here is the link:
A solution could be to display the left side and right side pages on one page together.

@Harry Trudrung This is a frequent problem, possibly brought about by the sequence of updates over many years. It is also possible that the work necessary to correct all these offset image numbers is too great. Therefore the task might be too low a priority.
In many collections there is a caveat statement that warns you that the image number given might not be the correct one, and that you should check within the collection. The method I use is to note the date of the event before opening the image view, and then look for the date first rather than the name. This is the same method that is necessary for those image collections that have not been indexed.
In principle it would be possible to create an automated checker for indexed image collections that would work through the records to search though every image collection that has been indexed. For every indexed image page, and for every indexed person in every page open the person record to update the link to the image number currently shown. I can't help feeling that if such a routine was run, the system response for normal users would be very slow until it finished. I shudder at the thought of the energy it would take to complete.
