Marriage license issue date not wedding date

I am indexing a set of marriage records from missouri. The 2 page spread includes only the marriage license issue date not the date of the actual wedding.

Items on the image include: name of female, male, license issue date, record number, page and volume

Questions asked from the indexing app include wedding date, bride parents, and grooms parents.

Do I index these records?

We would need to look at this batch. The Share Batch code is the 7 numbers and letters in brackets, starting with the letter 'M' at the end of the Project name.

Pretty sure you would index them though although the question would be how to index the date.

Of course a share batch code is always best! But, I am fairly certain the answer is found in the Field Helps. They are accessed by clicking on the purple question mark that appears when you click on the field. Generally, the priority list for dates can be found in these field helps, along with much other information about how to index all the fields.

When no marriage date is given, the field most likely says to use the marriage license date.
