Mismatch between Index and Citation
If you search the 1840 Census for John Whiteman, Hampshire, Virginia, there are no results. However, if you do the same search but replace "Virginia" with "Massachusetts" you get one result. The citation to this result reads: "United States Census, 1840," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33SQ-GYBM-3G1?cc=1786457&wc=31SK-N7J%3A1588670024%2C1588668378%2C1588665902 : 24 August 2015), Virginia > Hampshire > Not Stated > image 102 of 128; citing NARA microfilm publication M704." The citation is correct, but somehow the document is tied to Massachusetts instead of Virginia.
I realize this isn't really a question, but I'm not certain how else to report the problem.

@AndrewClower Thank you for reporting the error in place on the 1840 US Census. This happened because of an auto-standardization of places that did not work as well as might have been desired. We will report the error to those who can get it corrected. Sorry for the mess!

Thanks for taking the time to look at this and to pass it along for correction. Is there a better way by which I should report things like this, without bogging down you all at the "help desk?"
Cheers, Andy

@AndrewClower Reporting the way you did is the right way to report errors. It doesn't bog us down--that's what we are here for.
