I keep getting the red dot prompt that a new message has come to my site on Family Search. But when I click on "Messenges", I do not see any fresh message to me. It may be someone responding to a message I sent but I have no way of knowing which one. I cannot manually search through the many previous messages on my list. There is a problem here.

    @Kenneth Oler

    Kenneth

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

I have noticed such occasionally; but, now only in a particular "Browser", that I use.

I principally us, the "Bowser" of, 'Google" 'Chrome"; but, also use, the "Bowser" of, 'Mozilla' "FireFox".

A ways back, I noticed the behaviour, that you describe, in BOTH the aforementioned "Browsers".

NOW, I STIIL get the behaviour, in the "Browser", of 'Moziila' "FireFox".

    [ Even, when I checked, just then ... ]

But, I NO LONGER, really notice, that behaviour, in the "Browser", of 'Google' "Chrome".

    So ...

    That Said ...

I believe, the behaviour, may be somewhat "Browser' specific.

As, I noticed such, seemed to stop appearing, in 'Google' "Chrome", after an upgrade.

But, the behaviour, has NOT stopped, in 'Moziila' "FireFox"; even, after the latest upgrade.

    And ...

Just so that you are aware ...

I am using, the latest versions, of the "Browsers", 'Google" 'Chrome"; and, 'Mozilla' "FireFox", with the latest version, of the "Operating System", of 'Microsoft' "Windows 10",

I know that this may not help/assist; but, I hope that this may give you some, insight; and, perspective.

    Brett

Thanks, maybe I have the problem less now but I always use Chrome for a browser. Hope FS can fix it.
