Film 1044998 Unterwachingen not available in a history center
This film 1044998 with the following entries does still have a microfilm sign, it is not indexed:
Items 1-2: Taufen 1637-1688, 1688-1722 Heiraten 1688-1722 Heiraten 1670-1686 Kommunikanten 1719 Tote 1688-1722 Konfirmationen 1707-1711 Series Parochuru 1587-1748 Konfirmationen 1701-1705, 1696 Kommunikanten 1688-1722 Taufen, Heiraten, Tote 1722-1786 Konfirmationen 1729-1974 Bruderschaft 1750-1752
I assume this is due to "Konfirmationen 1729-1974" -->very likely 1974 is a typo. It is very unlikely to have such new Konfirmationen in this books. Should be either 1774 or 1874.
Is it possible to check this - if my assumption is correct - possible to change this?
To really do research I need to look over several years to find all children, parents marriage and so on.
Many thanks in advance

I am not connected with FamilySearch
I agree with steffifn that it almost certainly a typographical error in the catalog which has resulted in this film showing a microfilm icon which means it is not viewable digitally. The catalog entry is https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/88400
As however, the Catalog is currently locked because IT changes are being worked on, perhaps this means that no changes can currently be made.

I agree, it looks very unlikely that 1974 is correct.
FS Staff have previously indicated that it is currently impossible to edit the the names, or "Notes" of films in the Catalog, due to an IT upgrade that will last several months. However it has not been said one way or the other whether it is possible for them to change the access restrictions to films. Whatever the answer is, I hope that a FS Staff member will see this thread and get the film checked. If it turns out that the 1974 date is a mistake and there are no records younger than 100 years old on the film, then FS should be able to, after consulting the contract made with the record owner, relax the restrictions on access to this film.
