Written feedback for when Edit Unavailable
I came across a Record from a family member and I noticed the indexing on the Place was incorrect. Not only for one record but for many.
The edit button is unavailable so I could not suggest a change. Then, I call the support line (via chat) and it was very hard to communicate the issue to the person on the other line.
Finally, I think I passed the message but after a few weeks the records have not been corrected.

See my explanation of two possible reasons for large swaths of location errors in my comment on this thread: https://community.familysearch.org/en/discussion/107609/indexed-record-locales-out-of-sync-with-rest-of-data#latest
If it's the first type of error (stemming from a multi-part film), then don't hold your breath on it ever getting corrected. It certainly will not be addressed this year.
If it's the second type of error (stemming from an automated standard-associating routine), then it may eventually get corrected, if the support person you communicated with was able to pass it to the right queue.
In the meantime, the best you can do is to attach the source citations to your family members, and make a note of the location error in the Notes fields of the citations.
