Welcome to the "communiy.FamilySearch" Forum, with your first post.
I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
When you say that you cannot "... edit my ancestor and correct her name ,it has been changed by others ..."
Question: Do you mean, that your Ancestor is NOW, a "Deleted" (ie. "Archived") individual/person?
Being, an individual/person, that has been "Merged"/"Combined", with another individual/person; where, the other/latter individual/person, is the "Surviving" individual/person?
Question: Or, on a totally different 'tack, is your Ancestor, NOW, a "Ready-Only" Person?
Please advise, so you may be able, to be better helped/assisted.
Brett

Because your concern is about editing a name in Family Tree, I am moving this post to the Family Tree category where others who wish to edit information in Family Tree can find the discussion.
First, when you wish to have instructions about working in Family Tree, we suggest that you go to the FamilySearch Help Center to find a helpful knowledge article. Most articles about processes in Family Tree provide step-by-step instructions for working in either the web-based program or in the mobile Family Tree app. The following article explains how to edit vital information which is what it sounds like you need to have help to do.
Since you did not provide the unique 7-digit ID number or the name of your ancestor, we could not investigate in Family Tree to provide exact instructions. To make a basic edit to your ancestor's name, please go to the Details where you can find the Vital Information section. From your pedigree view, click the name of your ancestor, then on the Summary Card that generates, click the name again or click the Person link at the bottom right on the Summary Card. This action will open the Details page for your ancestor.
On the left side of the details you will find various sections. The second section is Vital Information. Make sure the triangle to the right of Vitals is pointing down so that you can see the name field. There is an Edit link just to the right of Name. Click the Edit link to open the field where you can change the name. Be sure you include your reason for making the change and save the change.
Family Tree is designed to help you restore previous information as well. This additional article discusses how to use the Latest Changes field which is on the right side of a person's details in the web-based program to restore previous information. You may find this information helpful in the future.
@Brett has mentioned other scenarios that can affect your ability to make corrections to the name in Family Tree, so if the information that has been provided is not helpful, please provide the name and specific ID number of the record that needs to have the name corrected so that we can offer more specific instructions. We want you to be successful in Family Tree and look forward to providing you with whatever assistance may be needed.
