Date Issue in Latest Changes
I have noted in Latest Changes to a person's record the date of the change was noted as Month, Day and Year. Shouldn't it matter that this way of showing a date should be written Day, Month and Year as we do in the person's vital records?
To do otherwise indicates either way in writing the date is approved by FamilySearch. For me in writing a letter, I always write the date the genealogical way - Day, Month, Year.
Thank you for reading and considering.

Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
[ And, i happen to be a member of the Church ... ]
I raised the matter some time ago now (maybe a Year or more).
Unfortunately, with the various "Changes" to (ie. 'Iterations' of) 'Feedback', I CANNOT find my original post.
I remember raising the matter, as soon as it occurred.
Especially, as I am not from the "United States of America" (or, one of its Territories), it was VERY "Disappointing", to say the least, to 'see' that in 'FamilySearch', "Changed", from the EXISTING "International' 'Standard' of "dd Mmmm YYY", to the American 'Standard' of "Mmmm dd, YYYY".
Most likely, just done by the Programmers/Engineers (most likely, an American); and, NEVER "Picked-Up", in any sort of REAL "Testing". Then, just ALLOWED to remain as such; even, though, such was immediately identified (by me); and, referenced; as, a Problem/Issue (ie. Fault / Flaw).
I remember, making a 'big deal', about the whole matter; but, as was to be expected, garnered NO support.
The Problem/Issue (ie. Fault / Flaw) is NOT just in the "Latest Changes" (ie. "ChangeLog"); but, was EVERYWHERE; whereas, now, is still in MOST significant places [eg. Person/Details page/screen; Sources Tab; Collaboration Tab (Discussions)]; although, such has been, over time (eventually) addressed/fixed, in a few places [eg. Collaboration Tab (Notes); Memories; and, "Temple" Work) - there is STILL a ways to go.
I truly hope, that 'FamilySearch', REVERTS all such 'Date' formats, BACK to the 'International' Date Standard.
ie. dd Mmmm YYYY, rather than the 'American' Date Standard, "Mmmm dd, YYYY".
The reason being, that "Family Tree", of 'FamilySearch', IS "International"; being, used by, MANY; Many; many, Users/Patrons, from, MANY; Many; many, Countries and Unions, from ALL around the World.
Sorry ... 'off my soap box' ...
Just my thoughts.
