Does anyone know any tips to find birth certificates in Wyoming?
My great aunt died when she was only a few months old, no one has any information on her, her mother used to say all she had was a picture of her in her casket, and it was a blurry photo. I have been trying for three months to find her birth certificate, I have looked on family search, ancestry, and no one seems to have this certificate or anything on her. Does anyone have any tips on where else I can look?

For Wyoming
Deaths more than 50 years ago are public record. Births more than 100 years ago are public record. Start by trying to obtain the death, to prove she is deceased, and then work for the birth record.

Time context is important. If she was born at home, depending on the year, there may be no birth certificate. A death certificate is more likely, but not guaranteed.
Wyoming began keeping birth certificates in 1909. In most locations, it was a few years before there was full compliance.

She was born on a military base hospital in 1955, and she died there as well. I have also heard that the documents might be closed because it hasn't been a hundred years, but I have found other documents, so I am not sure if that is true?

The state archives in Cheyenne WY. are a great resource. I was raised in Cheyenne Wyo but have moved away at age 18. I still have family who lives in Casper WY. My mom was adopted and in 2014 I got her original BC from Colorado as they have opened some of the information about adoptions.
Mom's new BC lead me to more family, some of whom moved to WY. Since the distance between East TN and Wy is a good stretch of the legs, as we say here it is not easy to go back to Wyo.
I contacted the archives asking for DC and for obituaries of my great grandmother and great aunt. They sent them to me by email. and I contacted them again because I found out that my great-grandmother had lived in Cheyenne at one time. they looked up her MR and sent me a copy.
So my advice is to contact them, if they do not have a copy of the BC, they might find something in newspapers for you about her birth or death, etc.
