maiden names vs married names

A FamilySearch respondent suggested the following .... You don’t deal with maiden names effectively either.  I wish I could mark the last name as maiden and have the records not show me single people with that last name. (Yes I realize that there are marriage records and census that might not appear- add a note in the setting - some names return just too many results to look thru when you have little starting information.)

I know the problem. I want to be able to find everyone with surname X who does not have a father with surname X. At present all I can do is scroll through search results and pick them out by hand.
