Why does button below photos, documents, etc. to make comments about them not work for me?
Several of us have tried to correct what a "cousin" has been adding to our ancestor pages. I have sent her a message through FamilySearch. Took her 3 months to respond. The problem is that she is uploading "research" of her mother's that is not correct even with identifying families and photos. I made the comment below a family photo that she identified (or I should say her mother did) that was not the correct family or individuals. I received a very lengthy email back from her telling me that I had berated her with my comment and much more. My comment was simple when I said this is not the correct identification of this family and told the name of the family and each individuals name in the photo. The next day the feature to make a comment would not work for me in FamilySearch and has not for about a month. This relative works for FamilySearch and indicated that she had much to do with the development of it. If FamilySearch had disabled that feature from me there should have been a notification of that. I have had not notification. Please help. Thanks

Have you tried using a different browser to access the FamilySearch tree? Or cleared your browser's cache and cookies?

Yes. I told the missionary that I had done all that. She told that my problem needed to be sent to the Engineers. I explained in my message when this started to happen. I am quite computer literate. I need the engineers to look at this. Thanks

One more additional problem. My husband, Richard Joseph Zupancic is blocked from making comments now. We have Google Chrome updated. Windows 10 is current and updated for both of us.

Hi. It has been 7 days since I submitted a request to have the Comment button fixed on my account and my husband’s Richard Joseph Zupancic. The Feed on the Family Search main page has stopped working as well. Who do I need to speak with to have this taken care of? All I have received with responses is that it is being sent to “special team”. Please find out what the status is or have an engineer call me. Shyrlane

These cases are handled in the order they are received, and we know it is it the correct place. We have been advised that it would be helpful for you to add a screenshot showing the problem to this post discussion, so they have an example of what is happening.
We look forward to the screenshot addition.

Screen shot isn’t necessary. The comment button below a photo or document is gray. It does not work. It is black so you can comment. Are the engineers working on this or missionaries? Have them call me instead of this back and forth with this.
