Looking for offline stand alone genealogy product that can download my FamilySearch Tree information
I am going on a foreign family history trip next week, in which I won't have access to the internet most of the time, to access my FamilySearch information.
I'm looking for a offline stand alone genealogy product, that can best download my FamilySearch Tree information, so I don't have to enter it all by hand again or rely on paper family group sheets.
I have not used used anything besides FamilySearch since PAF.

Hello @David Emerson Brocious,
There may be some options in the Solutions Gallery that can provide an off-line tree.
To find this, scroll down to the very bottom of a page in FamilySearch and click on Solutions Gallery toward the left.
You can try a couple of the programs to see if any are what you are looking for before you travel. Many are offered free of charge.
Best Wishes!

You'll be somewhere with no internet and no cell service either? The Family Tree mobile app has an offline pedigree viewing feature. You would need to make notes in, say, a notes app. Perhaps that would work for you? On the Family Tree app look in the Settings menu.
If you won't be working within 6 generations of yourself, you could temporarily attach "you" to the family you will be working on, then download your offline pedigree.
I use my smartphone a lot for genealogy field work. It is quite good at speech-to-text and photo scanner apps can extract text from photos of documents.
