Geographical Location
There is a lot of mistake entered in the geographical location field. I will just show two examples an I hope you will understand.
ie: 1- Pierrefonds, Montréal, Québec, Canada ~ This is the geographical Location.
Ste-Geneviève ~ This is the church in Pierrefonds where the event took place.
ie: 2- L'Île-d'Orléans, Montmorency, Québec, Canada ~ This is the geographical Location.
Church of England ~ This is the church in L'Île-d'Orléans where the event took place.
Ste-Famille ~ This is the church in L'Île-d'Orléans where the event took place.
Ste-Pétronille ~ This is the church in L'Île-d'Orléans where the event took place.
St-François ~ This is the church in L'Île-d'Orléans where the event took place.
St-Jean ~ This is the church in L'Île-d'Orléans where the event took place.
St-Laurent ~ This is the church in L'Île-d'Orléans where the event took place.
St-Pierre ~ This is the church in L'Île-d'Orléans where the event took place.
It would be nice to enter another line under the geographical location for the Christening & Burial to accomodate that new entry.
In the past I made a suggestion for the location field and it was rectified slightly. I even sent you an exhaustive list of the localities in Québec. It is up to you to take control of the pop up an put an end to all the nonsense going on (Sainte-Croix Cemetery 1740-1839, Sainte-Croix, Chaudiere-Appalaches Region, Quebec, Canada it should be Ste-Croix, Lotbinière, Québec, Canada). Also I would recommend using the abreviation for Saint "St" and Sainte "Ste". It is true that the county for Montréal is Île-de-Montréal but I think that Montréal, Montréal, Québec, Canada is quite acceptable. Also I beleive that you don't translate a name. Nova Scotia should remain and Nouvelle-Écosse should disappear even in the french. I would like to raise one more issue: in the "Français" the month retain the its english spelling (May instead of mai). Feel free to contact me for more clarification.
