Incorrect parish name in drop down list for Middlesex Parish Records
I have reviewed a batch of records for UK Middlesex Parish registers and noticed that "Wapping in Bradford" comes up as an option for parish name. Although there is a place called "Wapping" in Middlesex "Wapping in Bradford" is very far from Middlesex and is actually in Yorkshire-a completely different county. I hope this can be corrected before the records are published. It is rather worrying that this sort of mistake isn't spotted before the project is released for indexing.

If the Drop down list for the Middlesex Parish records has incorrect parish names please share the batch code of the project your are referring to, so we can take a look and advise.

You can find the drop down list of suggested localities for Parish Names in any of the batches for UK, England, Middlesex - Parish Registers, 1539-1988. You just need to start typing "Wapping" and "Wapping in Bradford" shows up.
However, here is a Share Batch link
The code is MSF3-2T3

In these batch the parish field should be blanked.
Field help indicates:
If the suggestions do not match the image, type what you see, and press Tab. (these records do not have a parish name).
If the locality was not recorded or was written as a variation of the word "unknown," press Ctrl+B to mark this field blank.
Yes, there is a mistake on name of parish in the drop down list in the entry for Parish name. We have reported it.
Thank you

Thank you for your reporting the problem.
I did not need any help with indexing the record.
