Moving an uploaded document from photos to documents in FS Memories
I accidently uploaded a photo of voter registration information to the photos section instead of the documents section of Memories in FamilySearch. Is there a way to move it from photos to documents? I've clicked around in the Memories section but can't figure out if or how I can make that edit. Any suggestions anyone?
Thank you!

When you are viewing the image in Memories, click on "Actions" just below the title and select "Change to Document."

How do I move an image from photo to documents if it is something someone else has uploaded?

Hello, and thank you for asking your question about easier editing of stories in Memories.
The best way to add a story to Memories, especially one with photos, maps, diagrams or carefully crafted formatting is to create it on your computer as a Word or similar document, then save it as a PDF. When uploading to Memories choose the .PDF format. When doing that, the images, pages, formatting and other unique aspects of the document will be retained as you finalized it.
Here are 2 short article that can expand on this for you.
Best of success to you in your Memories work.

@LindiShu if someone else uploaded and tagged the memory, you cannot change it from photo to document. That option is not available.
You can try contacting the contributor and suggesting that they change the format.
