 Ruth Alice Smith 9WMV-K8S was born 7 September 1746 in Smithfield, Providence, Rhode Island and married George Hopkins KF25-NPZ 14 March 1768 in Providence, Rhode Island. They had 4 children: Mary Ann, Christopher Stephen, Sarah Elizabeth, and George Benjamin from 13 February 1769 through 22 January 1775 in Providence.

 Record M2ML-BWR is NOT a duplicate of record 9WMV-K8S since the spouse and children DO NOT match.

 It is absurd to believe that Benjamin Smith K86S-D2N and Anne Hopkins K86S-D2N would have named two daughters – who had both lived – with the same name.

 Since there are sources for Ruth Alice Smith 9WMV-K8S as the child of Benjamin Smith K86S-D2N and Anne Hopkins K86S-D2N; Ruth Smith M2ML-BWR should to be removed from those parents – but is blocked by read-only.
