I have discovered that Fred Harrington is not the one I thought he was.

My Great GReat GRandfather William Bell, has a sister Florence Pickersgill Marsden Bell. She married Frederick Harrington in the 4th Quarter 1911, and had a child 3 years later also called Frederick A Harrington. This young boy died the same year.

I had always thought that Frederick Snr was born in 1883 in Sheffield, to Charles Harrington and Thirza Anderson. I found today, that he was not born in 1883, but 1 Dec 1889. He is found with his wife Florence in the 1939 register for England and Wales, with the correct birth date for his wife which correlates with her Christening record. So it clearly shows that Frederick was indeed 8 years younger than his wife, and not born in 1883. I have since done some searching, and the only birth index entry that fits is in the 4th Quarter 1889, in Newcastle. Mother's maiden name is given as Mawson. Looking for a marriage of a Mawson to a Harrington, and the following couple show up marrying in 1878: George Harrison, and Dorothy Iley Mawson.

This been the case, I need to change the parents of Frederick Harrington, but there is a problem:

There is definitely a family of Harringtons in Sheffield (Charles and Thirza that I mentioned earlier) who have 7 Children in cluding a Fred Harrington in 1883.

Someone (possibly me) submitted Fred Harrington born 1883 for Temple work, and it has all been completed, including his sealing to his wife Florence Pickersgill Marden Bell.

So, unlinking Fred born 1883 (LWJT-2TP) from his wife, but keeping him with his parents and siblings, keeps that part of the family correct.

But do I need to create a new Frederick Harrington, son of George and Dorothy Iley Mawson (since I cannot find one already in the familysearch tree), which I suspect I do, but what about his Temple work, does it need to be done again, and if so, what about his sealing to his wife, does that have to be done again also, or will that transfer across when I create the new Frederick Harrington?

Just for the scenario you provided ... 

Short Answers:

'Yes', create a NEW Frederick HARRINGTON, son of, George HARRINGTON; and, Dorothy Iley MAWSON.

'Yes', that means "Temple" Work is needed, for the "New" Frederick HARRINGTON.

Create NEW 'Couple' Relationship, for NEW Frederick HARRINGTON; &, Florence Pickersgill MARDEN; or, BELL 

DO NOT "Replace" one Spouse / Husband for the other - Create a NEW 'Couple' Relationship. 

'Yes', that means "Temple" Work ("SS") is needed, for the NEW 'Couple' Relationship.
