Fan Chart Default Person
Received an email to view my fan chart. Since I am the default person in my tree, why did the fan display my husband and his family and not me?

It should show you if your Starting person is set for you. You may have received the email under your husband's email account?
I would recommend double-checking that setting.
Click on your profile icon/name in top-right corner (when in FamilySearch)>
then Settings>
then under Account>
look for Family Tree Preferences> Family Tree Starting Person

Sorry - I should have checked further. Yes, It is showing me as the default person but the only other generation it is showing is my husband who is deceased. It isn't showing any of my ancestors including my parents and grandparents who are all deceased. I'll have to mess with it some more. Thank you for your prompt reply!

If it is still not showing your ancestry it might be (or probably should be) because one or both your parents are listed as living - when as you mention they are deceased (so definitely strange if not showing). It could also be due to which are set as the 'Preferred' parents (if there are step or multiple spouses) - but again if deceased should be showing.
