IPad user: how to respond to messages?
I use an IPad and have found in the past few months that I can no longer access an empty Reply block to type in to reply to messages sent to me by others. The Reply block used to be a really small block at the bottom right side of the screen, however that Reply block no longer appears in either vertical or horizontal view mode. Is there another way to reply to a message without losing the message thread?

Dear @Martha Anderson,
We will assume you are using the FamilySearch.org website on your iPad rather than the Family Tree mobile app.
Tap on the icon for discussions in the top right next to the bell, then tap on the person's name on the left side that you want to reply to. If you do not see the field for entering text for a reply message we suggest the following...
1) Tap and hold your finger on a blank area of the message on the right and then drag it upward.
2) Put two fingers on the screen and pinch them together to make the image smaller and possibly reveal the dialog box in the lower right side under a message.
3) As a matter of housekeeping, you can make sure your iPad is up-to-to date with the most recent Operating System by tapping the gear/cog on the home screen (settings) and then tap Software Update on the right side, then tap Download and Install.
Let us know if you are still missing the dialogue box after trying these steps. We look forward to your reply.

The two finger tip worked. I will do that in the future. I check for updates on my IPad frequently and ran one last week. This issue has been occurring for several months. Thank you for your help with a resolution.
