Regarding Slovakia Dunajska Streda Samorin Church Records

Film notes state: " inv.č 2205 Krsty 1724-1733 Film No 2440539 DGS 5225585

Item 3"

When opening this film, Item 3 does not exist. This film ends with the end of Item 2.

Can you please tell me where can I find this item?? I have attached 2 images to assist.

Thank you in anticipation of your assistance.

If you access this film through Search Images, the film is split up

    Item 3 https://www.familysearch.org/records/images/image-details?imageGroupNumbers=5225585&rmsId=M99X-ZH1&imageIndex=0

You will see that it has 2 on the film itself, which might look at first glance as if it was the 2nd item, but it is actually the 3rd item

Image 669 of 677 (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33S7-9BTH-ZY8?i=668&cc=1554443&cat=1467759) is labeled 1724 and contains baptisms. (This is image 421 of 429 in the waypointed version of the breadcrumb trail, which is image 385 of 393 in the image viewer that Maureen linked to.) That appears to be the latest year to be found on this film, which is what the last page says (roughly "here ends the register for the year 1724 on the 12th day of September"). I'm wondering if the "-1733" in the catalog is the result of a misreading or typo?

Between the atrocious handwriting, ink bleed-through, and the constant repeats in the filming, I'm not surprised that the cataloging is messed up.

(Edited to add link to 1724 baptisms. What I'd read as 1725 previously is, on further consideration, actually 1723.)

Thank you to you both for your efforts.

Even though I have very carefully gone through each batch, that particular time period remains hidden!

To catalogue the entries would have been a nightmare because they were all mixed in together, but perhaps you are correct that "1733" was a misread.

I agree about the atrocious handwriting, which got worse, then slightly better, then much worse!! That particular scribe was very fond of seeing his own name written!

Thank you both very much again fro responding! I am grateful🙂
