Procedure question & review
Batch; https://www.familysearch.org/indexing/batch/3c655602-db92-4c21-b793-2f05afd0a65b
So Image 2 is sort of a summary of image 1. And Image 4 is a summary of image 3.
The indexer put that image 2 is a duplicate of image 1, and likewise for image 4 of 3. There's not really any other extractable data for either.
Is this the best way to put it, as duplicates? or would you have suggested writing out the data on image 2 and 4 even though that data is already in image 1 and 3?
Thanks.

Hi Russell. I don't work on these Records. But based on General Indexing Guidelines, none of these images is a duplicate of any other in this batch (i.e. photographic image of). And those are the only images that should be examined to determine that an image is a duplicate of a prior image in a batch, and therefore qualify it to be labeled "No, Duplicate Image" in Step 1: Images. We don't look outside the batch to determine whether an image is a duplicate.
We might determine that the first image in a batch is a continuation of the last image in the previous batch and therefore was indexed with that batch and so should be labeled "No, No Extractable Data" in Step 1, if the instructions say to do so in such a circumstance. I don't have access to the Reference Images, so you will have to check for this situation.
Here is what the General Indexing Guidelines have to say regarding Duplicate Images:
Duplicate Images
A duplicate image is another photo or a retake of a previous image in the same batch. The duplicate and the original images are both images of the same document or combination of documents, not merely 2 images of similar documents or 2 images of documents about the same people.
If an image is a duplicate of a previous image in the same batch, type the information in the data entry area for the first image, and mark the second image as a duplicate.
To mark an image as a duplicate, do the following:
1. Make sure you are viewing the duplicate image in the main viewing window.
2. In Step 1: Images, click the arrow to open the drop-down list, and then click No, Duplicate Image.
If an image in a batch is a duplicate of an image in the previous batch, it cannot be marked as a duplicate and should be indexed normally.

I looked at your batch. The project instructions say:
- Mark all other images, including cover pages and indexes that have only names and page numbers, in Step 1: Images as No, No Extractable Data.
Images 2 and 4 are cover pages of their previous images.
The nice thing here is that you can read the brides name better on image 2. I think she is Lucy Frances Borum. So, you can add Lucy to the bride's given name on image 1.
