Sorting Memories of an individual in Family Tree
Would it be possible in Family Tree to sort the memories on a person's record by the Event Date attached to the memory? This would change the sort order for everyone who views the memories. It would be nice of I could sort the memories for my own view any way I wanted--date order, in order entered, name order, etc.

Sorting Memories of an individual: Would the FS team kindly explain the reasoning behind our not being able to sort memories in an indvidual's page/profile/record or whatever it is called ;o) I understand that I have no control over photos that have been entered by others, however, I strongly suggest that we have the option to sort the photos that we have entered. If there is a major reason that this has not been given priority attention, I would greatly appreciate knowing why. It just helps to know the "whys".

The ability, to "Sort" the "Memories", in the "Memories" 'Tab', of an individual/person, in "Family Tree", of 'FamilySearch', has been a MUCH "Requested" enhancement, by MANY; Many; many, Users/Patrons, over the Years.
Hopefully, such MAY eventually be implemented/appear.
We can live in hope ...

▬ 'FamilySearch', is FREE to ALL.
▬ 'FamilySearch', is NOT a "Commercial" (eg. Fee Pay/Subscription) Website.

Most importantly ...
There are many competing priorities in "Family Tree" (and, the OTHER Parts), of 'FamilySearch'; and, there are "Very" LIMITED Resources (eg. Funds) available to 'FamilySearch'.
Thus ...
Please understand that ...
IF, the requested enhancement, to "Sort" the "Memories", in the "Memories" 'Tab', of an individual/person; is, considered; and, approved; THEN, the next step, is to add that, to the EVER "Increasing" LIST, of competing priorities, in "Family Tree" (and, the OTHER Parts), of 'FamilySearch'.
And, of course, not to mention, following the aforementioned, such needs to be, "Designed"; "Developed"; "Tested"; and, "Implemented".
As such ...
There is NO way of knowing, WHEN the ability, to "Sort" the "Memories", in the "Memories" 'Tab', of an individual/person, in "Family Tree", of 'FamilySearch', will be appear, if ever.

Please believe me when I say, that there are, MANY; Many; many, MORE "Other" IMPORTANT features/functions/facilities; being both, Fixes; and, Enhancements, that need to be implemented/appear in 'FamilySearch'; BEFORE, the ability, to "Sort" the "Memories", in the "Memories" 'Tab', of an individual/person, in "Family Tree", of 'FamilySearch'.
Just my thoughts.
I know that this certainly does not help; but, I really hope that this provides you with some additional, insight; and, perspective.
