Slow Page Loading

I received this feedback from a patron: "Something appears to have happened to your entire website. Many images do not pop up without a refresh and sometimes data obtained is downloaded so slowly, it is like I am on dial-up again. Just recent problems. Maybe too many people or not enough capacity in the pipeline?"

I responded that the issue could be with the FS servers, their internet connection, or their computer, but that we would check our end.

    FYI

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Paton ...

    I have been experiencing the SAME both, in "Family Tree: of 'FamilySearch'; and, the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum - for the last Day or so.

    Definitely, on the 'FamilySearch' end (or, their "Servers").

    [ And, may also depend of the Country (ie. Location) - for the Local "Server". ]

    As, there is NO problems/issues with, my INTERNET connection/provider; or, my Computer.

    VERY VERY SLOW to access any data from the server (on par with old school dial up). Something has changed to create a bottleneck in the data access. I have "blast" internet speed with Comcast and have pinged (tested) to verify, so I know it is not on my end. The very slow Familysearch server has been going on for over a month.
