    If you are referring to a Read only record, William Clayton

    17 July 1814 – 4 December 1879 • • LHVW-CCX id not a Read only

    But Edward Partridge • KWVM-M2W

    7 August 1793 – 27 May 1840  is a read only

    @marylynettepratt1 It appears you may be referring to the Relative Finder application produced by BYU Family History Technology Lab. They have created an application that can link your family ancestors through several different categories, one of them being famous church leaders. Even though the two individuals you have mentioned are in Family Tree, you may not be related to them through a common ancestor. You may need to try different groups in Relative Finder to make a familiar connection with these individuals. One such group would be the Joseph Smith Papers.

    Are you using this FamilySearch experience? https://www.familysearch.org/discovery/famousrelatives

    Perhaps there is a broken relationship link in the Family Tree between you and these people whom you know you are related to?

    @marylynettepratt1 ( Attention, Moderators: @NidaFL & @MarvinG )

    Mary

    Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

    [ And, I happen to be a Member of the Church ... ]

    That is a VERY Good 'Question' ...

    Despite what has already been proffered ...

    FYI

    'Yes' ... you are CORRECT ...

    BOTH, William CLAYTON ( LHVW-CCX ); and, Edward PARTRIDGE ( KWVM-M2W )

    [ or, ANY 'FamilySearch Person Identifier' (PID) version of them ... ]

    DO NOT appear, in the "Activities" 'Tab', under "Famous Relatives" ...

    https://www.familysearch.org/discovery/famousrelatives

    Under "Church Leaders" ...

    for me either ...

    And, I am ALSO "Related" to them ...

    Plus ...

    And, for me, they BOTH appear:

    (1) in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch', under "View My Relationship"; and,

    (2) through (BYU) "RealtiveFinder".

    In other words ... there is NO ... "broken relationship link" ... in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.

    Now ,,,

    That Said ...

    There MAY be some OTHER (particular) "Reason", why NEITHER, is INCLUDED, in the "Activities" 'Tab', under "Famous Relatives"; as, "Church Leaders", in 'FamilySearch'.

    But ...

    That Said ...

    It would certainly be nice to know WHY ...

    Just my thoughts.

    Brett

    ==========

    FamilySearch

    I hereby humbly request that BOTH, William CLAYTON ( LHVW-CCX ); and, Edward PARTRIDGE ( KWVM-M2W ), be ADDED / INCLUDED, in the "List", of "Church Leaders", under "Famous Relatives", in the "Activities" 'Tab', in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.

    Of course, UNLESS, there is some particular/specific reason for them not being so.

    'Thank You' in advance.

    Submitted for your immediate, information; attention; and, consideration.

    Kind Regards.

    MAY THE LORD BLESS YOU IN THIS IMPORTANT WORK

    Yours Faithfully,

    Brett

    ==========

    Moderators [ ie. 'FamilySearch' "Support" (Personnel) ]

    Could you please do what is required, to forward (ie. pass on, up/along the line) this particular "Post" (that includes My "Request"), onto the "Department" in 'FamilySearch' (the Church), that handles matters of this nature, for their, information; attention; and, consideration.

    'Thank You' in advance.

    Submitted for your immediate, information; attention; and, consideration.

    Kind Regards.

    MAY THE LORD BLESS YOU IN THIS IMPORTANT WORK

    Yours Faithfully,

    Brett

    ==========

    I hope this helps.

    @CJTobler

    FYI

    'Thank You', for that particular "Knowledge Article".

    Which I was aware ...

    Where it states, among things:

    Quote

    ------------------

    In the future, we hope to implement a system where additional celebrities can be suggested.

    ------------------

    As such ...

    Surely, there IS a  "Department", in 'FamilySearch' (the Church), that is responsible for "Famous People", in the "Activities" 'Tab', in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'; and, has an ever-growing "List" of, individuals/persons, that have been "Requested", to be ADDED, to "Famous People", in the "Activities" 'Tab'.

    Of course ...

    That system, to ADD, individuals/persons, to the "List" of "Famous People", in the "Activities" 'Tab', MAY still be, under 'Consideration'; or, going through 'Design'; or, even, going through 'Development' ...

    But ...

    Surely, regardless, there MUST be an ever-growing "List" of, individuals/persons, that have been "Requested", to be ADDED, to the "List" of "Famous People", in the "Activities" 'Tab'

    Hence ...

    My Formal "Request" ...

    As such ...

    Can someone, in 'FamilySearch' "Support" REALLY investigate (ie. make enquiries), to ascertain, if an ever-growing "List" of, individuals/persons, that have been "Requested", to be ADDED, to "Famous People", in the "Activities" 'Tab'.

    And,

    IF, such a "List" exists; THEN, have the aforementioned individuals/persons, ADDED to such a "List".

    'Thank You' in advance.

    Brett

    ps: IE. The matter referred to the "Higher" Levels (eg. Level 3 and above) of 'FamilySearch' "Support".
