Temple opening dates affecting reservation of ordinances.....
By taking away the quick look for ordinances on the person card, and then not letting those of us who send all ordinances to share do so, you have made our job much more difficult. So now when I find needed ordinances, I can't send them to share. I understand that you can't give a 2 year date of expiration to those reserving ordinances to do themselves. But we sending ordinances in to the temple should be able to still do so.

Thank you for your question. If we understand you question correctly, it seems that you are trying to reserve ordinances that have previously been shared with the temple. Ordinances that have been shared with the temple by someone else can be reserved for 90 days. If they are not completed within the 90 days the ordinances go back into the temple system.
When you see a temple icon that looks like the one above that means that it has been shared with the temple by another user and can be reserved for you to complete the work. It can not be shared with the temple a second time.
We hope that this answers your question.

I still see the ordinances quick look on any person popup card accessible from any view.
WJRoth is correct, ordinances which have a green temple icon with a clock have already been shared with the temple. https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/article/someone-shared-my-ancestors-ordinances-with-the-temple-the-temple-has-not-printed-them-can-i-do-them
The Family Tree App has the ability to hide 90 day clock green temple icons.
