Will you pls make indexing easier to fix when one entry # off and it messes up the entire page?

Please will you help make proofreading indexing easier to correct when there are errors in the numbered entries, which throw off the entire page? I think it is silly to have to correct a whole page because one entry was omitted making the entry numbers off.

    You can always insert a missing entry where it needs to be. Use the + sign icon in the middle of the horizontal toolbar (left in the picture below) to add one or more entries where you need.

    Yes, I often run into this situation and I've done what John has outlined.
