Family name correction

That depends on where exactly in FS's vast sprawl the error is located. FS has several different places where people's names and relationships may appear.
First, there's Family Tree, which is an open-edit, communal tree, where anyone can edit anything, after logging in. You can fix names and dates and places by going to the person's detail page and clicking "edit" next to the error, and you can fix relationships by clicking the little pencil-stub-in-box icon to the right of the child's or couple's name(s).
Second, there's indexed Historical Records, which can be searched (with newfound difficulty due to a new interface, don't even get us started) by name and date and such. Some fields in some indexes can be corrected; if the error is in such an index, then there will be an "Edit" button in the middle of the black strip at the top of the detail page. If that button isn't available, then you need to keep in mind that indexes are not data: they're merely finding aids for data. If you're looking at an error in an index, then the index has served its purpose: you found the record.
Third, there's Genealogies, which are genealogy files uploaded to FamilySearch by users like you and me. It's a form of cloud backup that's searchable and viewable by other people. They cannot be changed, except that the person who uploaded a file can delete it and/or upload a replacement. If the error you found is in one of these files, there may be contact information for the uploader on the file, and you can get in touch about getting it fixed.

On the Person Page as above click on the blue Edit after the name and the box below will pop up in which you can can make changes. I find it is best to site a Source such as a Birth, Death or Marriage that will back up my changes. Then there is no conflict. Your Reason This Information is Correct: can state
Data found in Birth or Death record etc.
