Bug Report: Updating Standard Place in Family Tree does not allow Save if text is the same
Example:
I am working on a family where most vital events took place in the community of Håland in Rogaland, Norway. Many of the existing events had their place names originally standardized as Håland, Rogaland, Norway, populated place, places database ID: 2037178. This, however, is not correct and should have been Håland, Rogaland, Norway, municipality, Places database ID: 11786265. While fixing these, I have found the following:
1) Open the Edit box:
2) Click on the Standardized Place box and the current standard, the populated place, is shown:
3) Change to the correct standard, the municipality:
4) And the Save button does not become active:
In order to active the Save box, I need to make some other type of change to the entry. I'm finding the quickest thing to do is type a blank space in the Reason Statement box.
After I have corrected this person's birth place, his Timeline map looks like this:
After I also correct his christening place so both places are correctly standardized to the municipality, it looks like this:
Please fix the editing box so that it does not look at just the text of the standard to determine whether a change has been made and a Save is needed, but also at the underlying Places ID.
