Who do we notify when someone has been put into the tree as deceased but is actually still living?
Ellen Burton 11 June 1936 – Deceased • G4CP-ZVT
All information I can find indicates she is still living. In the change log it shows deceased being put in 10 Oct 2020. Her brothers obituary 2 Nov 2020 lists her as one of his survivors.

Hello @bdlich
The process to change the status of a Family Tree record from deceased to living works differently depending on whether you are a contributor and how many contributors exist. When you change the record from deceased to living, the record moves into one user's private space. If you are the only contributor, the person moves into your private space. If you are not a contributor or the record has multiple contributors, the process is more complicated.
Here is a link to the knowledge article that explains how to change the status from deceased to living:
Thank you for your efforts to improve the data in Family Tree.

I am not a contributor to her person page at all. I was researching her ex-husband and noticed she was in there as deceased so did a little looking to see if she was deceased or not.

I followed the instructions on that page. But it is much more confusing than it was before when I just submitted a case and could see in my cases that it had been submitted and I could see when it had been resolved. Now I put the info in but there is nothing once I leave the page and come back to show I have submitted anything nor anyway to see if the matter is resolved - other than she should just disappear when I go looking for her.

FYI
I am just a 'lowly User/Patron ...
I could be wrong; and, I stand corrected if I am ...
But ...
As far as I am aware ...
Despite the fact, that the 'FamilySearch' "Support" Case numbers NO LONGER get generated ...
Due to the RECENT 'Demise' of the OLD 'FamilySearch' "Support" Case Management System ...
The matters by Users/Patrons, of "Requesting", the "Changing" of the 'Status', from "Deceased", to "Living", for an individual/person, in 'Family Tree", of 'FamilySearch', STILL go (ie. get through to) 'FamilySearch' "Support", to action the matter.
We are simply NOT advised of such.
Furthermore ...
I believe, that there may be a BACKLOG, of such matters; so that, the response (ie. turn-around) time, may be somewhat longer than in the past.
Just my thoughts.

Another option for handling this situation would be to message the person who put the death notice into her page. You can do that by going to latest changes. By default, all changes display in order, with the most recent changes first. To filter this list to a specific type of information, such as death click Filter, and then click on death. You can then message that person and give your information in case it is different from theirs or vice versa. I'm sure the person would like to have correct information for their ancestor. Thank you for trying to make sure that all information is correct and up to date. Hopefully this will help you.

To monitor the page to see if your report is acted on, you could follow it (click the star) and then label it something like "Living?". Then periodically you can search your following list for the label.
