How do I get my own info and that of my living family OFF of this site? What a nerve the LDS has!

What part of the site are you referring to? The most common complaint of this type comes from the Public Records database at: https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/2199956 which, as its description states, "is an index of names, birthdates, addresses, phone numbers, and possible relatives of people who reside in the United States between 1970 and 2009, although there are a few records outside this range. These records were generated from telephone directories, property tax assessments, credit applications, and other records available to the public." (Emphasis added).
FamilySearch did not create this database. It is just a copy they acquired from whoever actually complied it.
I did read on previous versions of this board that you can request something be removed from FamlySearch's copy of that database but I can't tell you the current procedure. A moderator might be able to.
I wouldn't worry too much about criminals, I'm pretty sure they would not bother with this rather incomplete, often inaccurate, database. They are much more likely to use Intellus, Truthfinder, publicrecordscenter, anywho, truepeoplesearch, peoplefinder, or any of the other dozens of sites out there, including what I think is the worse offender of all, Spokeo. Or they just get parts of the recent Epik or Twitch hacks. Or have been watching all your SMS texts for the past five years via the Syniverse hack.
If it is a different part of the website you have concerns about, please clarify the issue.
