His sons name is being used for his name and his is used as an alias, that's not right. His name is Robert Louis Hamel he has no alias. He lived in Butler County, Trenton Ohio. Not Delaware Ohio. Trenton is a City not a township. How can this be fixed? If it can't please remove it till it is corrected. Robert E Hamel is still alive however his father "Robert L Hamel" is deceased. https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QJWW-GLSH

Thanks

Please go to the following FamilySearch Wiki article which discusses working with information from the Unites States Public Records Index. You can contact the site that maintains these records if corrections are needed.

    https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/United_States%2C_Public_Records_-_FamilySearch_Historical_Records

When information in this collection is corrected, the amended information will not appear at FamilySearch until the next time this collection is updated. Most collections that come through other websites like this collection update what is at FamilySearch several times a year.

We hope you will be able to get the record you are concerned about amended.

Because this is a question about a collection found in our Historical Records, we are moving this discussion to the Search Help Center Category. Don't be alarmed if it shows as closed in the Other Category. Clicking the title of the discussion will redirect you to the Search category where you will find the discussion is open and active.

Public Records are "as-is". They are acquired from vendors and are generated from all kinds of events, so can be very low quality. All FamilySearch has is machine indexing records from the vendors, and these are not editable on FamilySearch.
