Dates make no sense

Following my family history I found a person who was born 11 years after his father's burial and the dates for his father's burial and death are 63 years apart. Apparently he died 63 years after he was buried! Check out KZGK-PMB (son) and KFNQ-1J3 (father).

    With no sources you have no reasons or proof for the information. One source says from an Ancestry tree. When I find profiles like this I dive in and try to find the sources and documentation. Because FamilyTree is a community tree we all work together to fix and repair these issues using the sources we can find on Familysearch because they have LOTS as well as other places. The information in genealogy is only as good as the sources and documents used to prove the information. Much of that info is old 2012 or older so maybe from paper sources, you can always reach out thru the messaging system to ask contributors where they got their information.

    @DaleHerman

    In looking at the dates for The father KFNQ-1J3 it appears that they are about dates for Birth and Death. Searching for sources for this entire family are going to help you solve these questions. You may want to look in the Search records section on the right of Hans Jakob Staub person page and also look in the search section above. I agree with @Cindy Hecker that more sources need to be added to this entire family to verify all the information. Sometimes adjusting the about dates can results in finding some research hints that will help you.

    You may also want to look at the latest changes section and see what has been done by other individuals who are interested in this family. You can contact them and collaborate with them by clicking on their name.
