Do you plan to restore the possibility to download results from exact searches. If so, approximately when?

I am getting this:

Validation failed. [Unsupported parameter=exactSearching=[true]]

@EdgarRichardson Engineers are reporting that the problem with exporting search results when you use the exact search option has been fixed. Please try again and let us know if it still results in an error. Thanks.

Cool! Looks like the engineers disabled that part of the Search system while they work on addressing complaints about it.

Perhaps soon we will see separate exact search check boxes for event dates and event places.

Today I was able to download search results with parameters "Richardson" and "Any" limited to "Exact" for Suffolk from 1500 to 1700. This results in bigger spreadsheets, but may still be workable.

BUT I was still not able to download search results with parameters "Richardson" and "Birth" limited to "Exact" for Suffolk from 1500 to 1700.

Unfortunately, "Any" does not include the name of the principal's father, but perhaps I can work around this by using the link near interesting names.

Please let me know when download is available for the "Birth" parameter.

I was partially mistaken in my last comment.

When I downloaded search results with parameters "Richardson" and "Any" limited to "Exact" for Suffolk from 1500 to 1700, the download DID include the name of the princip's father. The sheet was so big I didn't see it at first. I can still work with it by hiding columns when not needed.

Yes, I can now download exact search results for "All" records and for "Birth" records only. I have not tried other exact search results such as for "Marriage" only or "Death" only.

Please pass my thanks to the engineers and tell them I like their new interface.
