Microfilms that should show up as digitized
I have been waiting for years for this day, the day that the digitizing is complete!!😂
But the film I am waiting for is still showing up as not digitized. None of the reasons that it would be blocked apply in this case.
So what do we do now, is there someone to report the missing link to?, assuming that the film actually has been digitized?
The film that I am referring to in this case is: #7548874

@Iodine7 You viewed images??
Nope, tried that yesterday. "No results found." Plus from what I was told there is no image access even if it were digitally published.

Sorry I just figured out the number I posted above is the digitized number, so the film is digitized and indexed (but the rule is to always check for yourself to be sure, isn't it?) the old microfilm number is #1535439 😊

Which item(s) from film 1535439 are you looking for (birth, marriage, death)?
I see that item 3 deaths refers to another film:
Booklet no. 22 1926-1927
United States & Canada 2nd Floor Film
1535440
Item 1
Does this help?

Thank you for your help! I am looking for the marriages. I guess there is just the one film for those?

Yes. Then you were apparently correct to begin with - they - the index - all should be searchable using the link you initially provided. What is missing or not being found?
Interestingly when I try to filter by Marriage event I receive this notice:
"We’re sorry, something unexpected happened, and we couldn’t show you this filter. Try again later."
Maybe since the film is already supposed to have Marriages as Item 1 it generates an error?
i'm trying to see if there are any alternatives to view the film... Search> Images... but it returns:
"No Results Found. Try These Tips:"
Hmm, It seems the film is in 'Restricted Access'? The index appears to return 'incomplete' Search Results - perhaps this may be why you are unable to find the record(s) you are searching?
I did find another Index here: https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/1674817
Does that help?
I hope you get a better response from a FamilySearch representative.
Perhaps a call to FamilySearch will help. There is definitely something strange going on with the index. I see at top of Results 9,547 results but bottom of page only 49 pages of 100 records each - this is not correct. Maybe you aren't searching the full index? I called in and opened a case for you.

I never trust the indexes for all the reasons you are saying, eventually I look at the film itself. I used to ask questions and make suggestions about fixing many things on the website years ago, now I just look at the films myself.
I think the original question rephrased now may be:
😀Where do I report that there is no link to microfilm number #1535439 - DGS #7548874 ?

No where - it is 'access restricted' to the film at FHL. There is no digital access. There is only index search access - which appears to have a 'problem'.
I was informed - that is what the film roll icon in the Catalog means. If there were digital access there would be a camera icon.
I guess theoretically there should be a camera icon now on all collections that have been digitized - but they may be in 'pre-publication processes' - so no camera icon yet that would inform you of the access restriction. Or maybe they won't even publish those with film only access.

I believe this link might take you to what you want.
