Updating Tree

My daughter has been on for years and I just Joined but when I search for her using her information and also her code she comes back not found?


What can I do?

    The issue is your daughter is living. You will not be able to see any of the living records that she has entered including herself. This restriction is to satisfy privacy issues associated with records and information on living persons. You should be able to search and find any deceased records that your daughter has connected to herself or her linked relatives. For example your grandparents would be your daughters great grandparents and it is likely that some of them are deceased. As you create your tree by adding parents and then moving to the next generation and adding grandparents - any of those record that are deceased you should use the same records that your daughter is using. Thus keeping to only one record for any deceased person in the tree. Hope that explains the issue for you.. for more information see the article below.
