BADLY DESIGNED
This "new and improved" Family Search is anything but. It is a horrendous debacle in every way.

You're among friends. We're here because we can't do any work since the changes. Join in, waste your time making well meaning contributions to the Ideas in the vain hope that you might be heard by a bunch of people who are not listenting to the vox populi.
On the bright side, now you'll get time to do all those other things you've been neglecting because you were dedicated to recording and researching family history.

I just came on since they redesigned everything and all I have to say is wow!!!! They screwed the pooch on this one. I like the old interface better. It was absolutely great. Whoever had a hand in this horribly redesign should not be allowed to go anywhere near website designing again. Go back to the old design. I already know FS is just like Ancestry as they never listen to what anyone has to say.

The new format must have been critiqued and tested by folks related to the developers...and the developers must have never done a day of research in their lives. In my opinion, the designers developed a system that was what THEY wanted it to be without any regard what-so-ever as to what the end-users wanted or needed.
Just like Amazon's new search format, it was definitely NOT tested by real researchers. It is very cumbersome and is hard to use. I was wondering if the developers were paid by how many "clicks" that they could force the user to make. I LOVE improvements to systems, I am not even remotely afraid of changes. However, changes just for the sake of change, especially when those changes make the system unproductive and confusing are disheartening.
